@伊東かえで It's the same method except the dark and light shading have their own layers - dark set on 'darken only' mode and light set on 'overlay' or 'addition' mode. Same general idea though. Make sense?

I love this horse! I want this horse as my background for my stuff. xD. I have a couple questions for you. Do you still use the method with the grain merge mode? Because in this video, it was a little different and I want to know how you do it. Today , my teacher said if you had 100 bucks what would you spend it on? And with full confidence I raised my hand and said "I would spend 100 bucks on this youtuber called "Vizseryn" if she would spend an hour OR 2 teaching me her drawing skills of horses". Your really good btw , I have little confidence to b as good as u tho, my life is really busy and I have no time to draw. But I try to learn the best I can but little hope do I have. But u r what helps me learn by ur speedpaints a little. :')

I have GIMP as well, and I cant seem to figure out how to get it to show layers. When I create a new layer, I cant find the other one again. How do you get the layers to be on the side of your screen if that makes sense?
