When you do your slapchop, do you just do the black, then directly to white or do you do grey a mid tone?

I think you should paint both the original colours of the HeroQuest board AND your own take on the board. Start with the original colour board first and do your own take for a later video.

Why not HeroQuest? You can make your own hero, your way. 50/50 the board, you have outer boards, that might be lighter, and as youcrawl around, you get to darker areas.

I get the concept to follow the color schemes of the cards, but for some it's just a tad boring or bland. Since I play Vargon, and it's for the kids to play and bridge a bit between sessions of a D&D campaign, I'm putting some more color in there. Don't get me wrong, the overall look is still a big grimy, but for a pair of girls barely hitting their teenage years... well, I pander to my audience :D

For the strangest reason this has reminded me of my next DND character. In a world of grimy dungeoneers he's a flamboyant knight with cyan blue and magenta heraldry. I'm a sucker for bright colour in odd places
