(Speedpaint) MLP: Happier past self

I feel like the creators of the show are also trying to explain that no matter what, you'll always end up feeling different as you get older. Life will get harder, you'll have more responsibilities, school, work, family, friends, nothing is going to be the same as it was when you were a child. I realized this on my birthday when my boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed to me. The same night he did, I figured "You're now engaged, this is going to be much harder on you since you still have school to finish, you need a job to hold yourself together, and a whole bunch of other things." Growing up takes a lot of risks. But I do agree, Twilight became a princess to fast. But like I said, you have to grow up at some point, you can't stay a child your whole life. I know it's harsh, but....that's all that can be done. Rarity has her own store, pinky pie works, apple jack works on a farm, rainbow dash technically has a job.....so I mean there ya go.

+Angelpie wolfie Well this took now a deep turn out, but I agree with you about life getting harder. Like it wouldn't already be but as a kids we don't understand/see it. And about Twilight becoming a princess I thought about it in the way that it was the first season.. and she already became a princess and there wasn't so big puzzle or fight or blot twist or anything what could make her actually earn it that quickly, but it's kid's show it must be simple because of that probably. Of course this is just my opinion.

rainbowhitter No I completely understand that. But it makes sense that they were wanting to change things up a bit. I mean they added a lot of filler episodes making them lose viewers. So what will you do to step things up? Make it interesting. Granted Twilight did look much happier when she was just a unicorn. As an alicorn she's more of a scatterbrain then pinky pie.

+Anglepie Wolfie and +rainbowhitter I agree with you both because things change and the butterfly effect happens. I do think that Twilight became a princess way to fast to make a lot of scene. In a way through, the writers should have their fun and yes it is for children to watch and not really think about it to much. Though I can't really say much about my brother who, yes does ask questions about the show itself and that always makes me think. So I do believe it happened to fast but also a lot of things happen and we don't even know of it though it could have happened to us. Life is hard and sometimes very cruel but my brother and many have taught me we all can get through it even if we leave some tears. PS: Sorry for budding in and sharing more than needed. I just really couldn't help myself when I found people like you two, who would think and question something others would even think of. Again I'm sorry.

Guys aside from all the stress of her new responsibilities,shes an alicorn princess now..as far as I know,they live forever..for all we know this pic could b of her hundreds of years later after the other elements of harmony have passed away and hats y shes sad.

I agree. Twilight was more happier when she was a unicorn but, now she has more work and problems to deal with.

I just forget season 4 and onwards exists :)... ;n; why...? A happy pony, who knows where she is in the world, with a beautiful tree library and friends just like her, learning friendship together. Happy. Free. Then Princess Twilight... a lost pony, different from her friends more responsibility and a maze-like castle, piled with responsibility and expected to do her best.

another reason why she became sad is the sudden change. One day she was just a happy little unicorn living in a pretty tree library, and society expects nothing of her, the next day her beautiful tree is gone, and she now lives in a giant maze-like castle and getting expectations from all of society.

Well Alicorn's as i know live forever right? So maybe she is just so lonely sense you know she turned to an Alicorn and she just watched everyone die i mean how sad would that be knowing you can never see your friends again that's kind of deep and you know she could also be sad that she became princess so quickly i mean one day shes in her little library tree house thing as a normal pony then the next day shes a Princess and shes living in this GIANT castle and everyone is counting on her for guidance you could imagine the pressure of it all. Well that's just my opinion.
