Cel shading is essentially black outlines & shading without any gradients or fading, like in some cartoons. :)

Definitely, you can't draw digitally with just a mouse. If you want to draw digitally then you have to invest into getting a drawing tablet, check the description, she list out EVERYTHING. I really insist on the mouse thing. You won't be able to produce high quality result without a tablet.

First lock the layer after you added the color (preserve opacity), then you color pick the color you want, and then I used CTRL + U (hue and saturation) to change the hue C:

I sure do ^^ There's always a break after sketch and after lineart, but coloring I enjoy doing without pauses if possible C: Unless the drawing is too big, then taking a rest is a must since I don't want to harm my wrist ^^
