Is this run only possible on pc or do all glitches/skips work in all versions of the game?

The skips can be done on computer fairly easily and has been done on Playstation 4/5 using a turbo controller. Theoretically possible on any HD console. It hasn't been proven possible on PS1 or 2.

Why does the timer pause during battle into btw?

It is part of the game time load remover for PC to level the play field for different spec PC's.

How come there’s no trance meter?

By skipping Prison Cage, you never go through activating trance so there is no trance the whole game.
