SpeedTech Lights (STL) Interior Lightbar Install. (universal brackets) And Quick Review.

Hey bro, I run speedtech lights. Amber/white traffic advisor in the back. I have good tint on my 2011 Honda Pilot. They say tir is better for tint; but I see a lot of linear that seems to be bright. Which would you run with tint? Linear or tir?

I run an Lamphus Solar Blast traffic advisor because it is extremely bright and I have factory 35% tint. For speed tech lights, lightbar has both. The TIR seems to be aimed a little more up however they do seem brighter. I would run TIR as it has more punch through the tint.

@@troykenney176 Super TakeDown® MultiColor Raptor Linear LED Visor Light Bar (Dual Memory) it's Amber and Clear color with the dual color takedowns with the visor extender. Since the video, I took them down and remounted to the visor using one toggle bolt at each mount. This made for a tighter fit at the ceiling. I cut the rubber strip on the visor and glued it to the extender using super glue so it can't fall off. I used the clear mounting velcro tape (the wet/dry clear locking velcro) to make a tighter connection of lightbar visor to extender to eliminate most flashback.

Where did you run the wires on the interior to the engine?

They are run to a siren controller that I had laying around. But that is wired to two switches under the dash that I put in so the siren box isn't always on and I don't need to worry about if I accident pressed a button. That siren box is run through a grommet near where the steering wheel comes in and that's run to a fuse on which is then connected to the battery.
