Hey you have done a very good job, you have made life simple by simplifying the complicated techie stuff...

Top marks, Mate. That was a stellar demonstration, cheers!

Thanks for this video it really helps. I'm hoping you can help me understand how to properly configure my set up. I have a sohc Honda D16 engine. Within the camshaft gear I set in 12 north pole magnets to act as the crank trigger and one south pole magnet to act as the cam trigger. I'm using a dual pole hall effect sensor. Is it possible for the dual wheel pattern to work? The engine is backfiring randomly although I was able to set the ignition timing via a timing light on a mark I made on the crank pulley.

Can I use the 5v rev on the speeduino for power input for a crank angle sensor?

Hi, I think all your demos are brilliant, and I would like to tinker with mapping ignition only on a three cylinder carburetted motorbike. I believe I would need TPS (and/or map sensor to determine load) and missing tooth crank sensor, but that speduino might be a cheap and sensible candidate. Could I ask you for your opinion and thoughts, or what alternatives you might favour for DIY ignition mapping..? Best regards, Russell.

I'm not really an expert in all the systems, and only know a bit about Speedy and rusEFI. It sounds like you just want ignition. Generally people go TPS and MAP, but I think in n-Alpha you only need TPS. They are a friendly bunch on the SD forum, and they know more than me.

@@SidneyCritic Many thanks. Really enjoyed your porting videos btw. It's probably some ungodly hour where you are, or maybe early morning, but have a great day, as they say... 🙂. Cheers.R.

Hi can we use this speeduino for one cylinder engine?

Brilliant videos, thanks for upload. What pickup sensors are you using? They look like 3.3v or 5v stuff?
@SidneyCritic5 жыл бұрын
They are just the 5V IR speed sensors you find on Ebay.

so in sequential ignition i can just either find the atdc and use a it whatever degrees that i may find without changing the cam position trigger wheel?
@yxng_metro3 жыл бұрын
just like over here at 7:23 you didn't change the position of the cam tooth wheel
