I just bought these and while I’m excited to make shapes with them, i find they’re INCREDIBLY enjoyable as a putty-like fidget, cuz magnets can’t make my hands icky the way putty and slime usually do. And magnets can’t dry out!

So Speks are the smaller version of buckyballs, if you want a large premium high quality version, I recommend Zen Magnets. Used em in my office back when I worked in a call center daily, Absolutely lovely.

speks are the off brand version of buckyballs. BB is essentially the same product at a higher price, but you can buy in bulk up to 8000. to put the price into perspective, however, a 1000 pack of speks is about $60 while a 1000 pack of BB is at least double that at $118.75 (before tax)

this is actually false, the creator of speks is the same creator of buckyballs, buckyballs and other brands with similar magnets were banned due to the dangers of children consuming them, speks reduced the diameter of the magnets as a loophole to start selling them again

Please note while the colors are pretty if you use them like I do within a month the pretty color are worn off and they are now silver. 😊

Bought some of the colored ones and colored coating chipped off very fast. These are super fun but stick with the plain ones unless they have improved the coating they use.
