Looking to give your ARRMA bash vehicles a kick in the long run-time pants? Spektrum now has you cover. Their latest Smart G2 Pro Basher Lipo batteries have a 120C discharge rate and huge capacity-dare I say ginormous capacity! They've got offerings for all your bashing needs. The new batteries are all protected in hard cases, with battery cables that can pivot easily for multiple mounting options. Like other Smart G2 batteries it has features we've come to love: Auto discharge to storage mode, automatic charging when plugged into a Smart charger, 5C charge rates, and data logs the amount of charge cycles.
There's too many new options to talk about each one, but I'll list a few of the standouts for me. First, the 3s 6800mah 120C works great in the 3S BLX Arrma Senton, and can be used in the 4s lineup, or doubled up and used in the 6s ARRMA.
Second, the 4s 6800mah 120C battery that can be used in the 4S, 6s, and 8S ARRMA vehicles and also work great in a Losi DBXLE.
The third shining star for me is the 6s 6800mah 120C that can be used in the 6s BLX lineup and the Infraction, Felony, and Limitless. To use them you do have to remove the plastic battery guide that easily pops out of those vehicles, but once you do it is a snug fit.
One other battery that peaked my interest, but for a totally different use is the 14000Mah 3S 120C battery that I think would be good for long walks with an SCX6. You have to remove one end of the battery tray, but then you will have power for hours. So if you like to take long walks in the woods with your SCX6, this might be perfect for you.

I didn't think I'd need or even want the smart tech until I bought a rc car for my nephew. The smart tech helps me sleep knowing it's alot less likely for him to have a user error and burn something up , whether it be the battery or the house !

One hit low voltage on spektrum electronics in Arrma vehicle that has LVC, by the time I got home to put on storage charge it was dead & then it wouldn’t charge. I have other UNUSED BRAND NEW spektrum batteries that drop under storage voltage due to its own technology & when I went to top them up they were dead. I’ve never had to look after & constantly baby or keep an eye on batteries & maintain batteries like I have to do with spektrum batteries.

Sorry to hear you have been having a bad experience with the Smart batteries, If you have batteries that are having a hard time holding charge like that we actually just came out with a battery update that fixes that issue. Currently the update is applied with a smart checker but we have a update for the chargers that will apply the update to the packs soon. I’ve heard that LVC is a problem with Spektrum. I would go gens ace but their bashing series is too long for Arrma Kraton 6s. And if I can’t get the bashing series I rather go CHNL for price.

I do buy Spektrum Smart batteries. I even bought the traxxas batteries for their vehicles to show the experience they want people to have. I honestly don’t need more than 5000 mah for my bashing. The higher mah people pay for to get a little extra speed in speed runs. My cars running hot after 8-10 minutes. I can run them for the full 6800 pack in one sitting. I just buy multiple 5000mah packs. Run one u til hot. Let it cool. Run again. Then switch packs. But normally I don’t fully run out. I ESC temp out or call it before it does. But you wouldn’t believe how many people tell me they want more than 5000 mah. And yes….I buy them because I want auto discharge. I charge up a lot of batteries. If I don’t use them all, they discharge until I charge them again. The tech is worth it to me. I’ve thrown away too many puffed batteries from leaving them with a charge on them for months. It’s not for everyone, but if you look in my lipo case, I have mainly Spektrum batteries now. I’m all for competition. If you like the cheap ones, go for it! That’s a great deal.

Sure can. It has balance lead on the side. Use an adapter to your batter from ic3 or ic5 and set the battery type and amp setting.

We bought into the Smart tech earlier in the year, thinking it would be easy for me and my son to charge and not have to worry about putting them in storage mode after every run, it didn’t work out that way our battery packed in after a month and so was useless, so we just went with a normal battery instead and that battery is still going and putting it into storage mode is not a problem, although the spectrum charger doesn’t seem to have a storage mode option so we have to use another charger for that.

Fyi the 3s 6800mah basher lipo do fit the vendetta, big rock, and infraction 3s vehicles u will just have to take the little plastic battery stop out located in battery tray for the extra room needed for the 6800 mah …..usually you do not have to take out the battery stop because most people buy the 5000mah lipo’s and that fits perfectly with the battery stop….. but for these you will have to take that out and it will fit just fine, not too snug but a nice fit, you won’t have to fight with it

The 6s is 1 mm wider than the 3s version of this. I would recommend getting two stacked 3s for a better fit.

do you have a spektrum smart charger? These batteries only work with a Spektrum Smart charger. They'll charge at 2amp, but it will take longer

Yes. They come programmed to discharge after 72 hours out of then box. You can change that with a charger or their smart lipo checker

@@CCxRC thank you for the quick response. I like spektrum batteries but these are even more expensive than Traxxas batteries. I prefer these over traxxas but spektrum needs to bring them down in price by atleast 25%, because we all know these batteries are manufactured in the same factories that those cheap Amazon batteries are made. I really do hope spektrum listen to their customers and reasonably price these batteries so we can support them.
