Hey Sam I’ve sampled two of the popular fragrances from Liz and was impressed but never committed to a bottle buy ,then I saw this beauty on pre-order looked at the notes and pulled the trigger blind then I noticed a review from the wafts boys and Claire later on,and getting the fragrance and wearing it now in colder climes ,your accolade here truly gave spell 125 it’s just desserts and merit,its a beautiful hidden gem unique I feel among others in it’s genre.Perfumery and sorcery at its best utterly magical cheers for a great review it’s so under the radar it’s a shame 🙏

Exciting review! Great to hear your initial impressions👌🏻. I do love Papillon, and this one is turning out to be my most memorable fragrance sample of the year. I find a funk in this that stops me purchasing a bottle (so far!) but I keep coming back to my keenly conserved sample and enjoy it each time. I think it's a superb creation.

On first sniff I absolutely fell in love with Spell125! Wholeheartedly agree on the metaphysical implications. Reminds me of Solstice and Equinox celebrations.

Wooow you sold it to me!!! But I first need to buy a bottle of Salome, it's going to be a blind buy, but dark, animalic, complex fragrances are my thing, if I loved Nishane Unutamam and T-Rex, I know I can handle almost any fragrance. Thanks for the review Sam!!!

Well you can certainly handle Salome if you can handle T-Rex! But you have to enjoy a bit of vintage I think to truly love Papillon. Enjoy! 🌹Xo Sam

This was love at first smell for me. I def get the mental imagery of walking through a snowy pine forest at night. But it also evokes an specific scent memory for me. Growing up in Miami my parents would drag me to the flea market on weekend mornings. Among the produce vendors, there was a stall that sold religious items for practitioners of African diasporic religions like Santeria and Voodoo. Spell 125 reminds me of the smell of resins and incense at that stall. Definitely adds to the mysterious vibe!

The last and only time I got the vibe of a witch brewing herbs and casting spells in the woods was from Magie Noire. I am waiting for my sample to arrive 😍 and now I am even more thrilled after your review.

I have and love Magie Noire and finally pulled the trigger on Spell 125. Both are so gorgeous and witchy, though Spell 125 feels more ancient and ominous.

Hola, buenas noches a todos. Sam, thank you for sharing another page of your journey with us. To me it would be a yes. Thus far, my witch 🧙‍♀️ scent is the Gucci Guilty Absolut. To me, it makes me feel like I am in an herbal cabinet surrounded by bandaids in the xix. Now, this Spell sounds powerful and beckoning!

Liz is very careful and only releases something when she feels right :) and we can see that in her fragrances, they where very well tested and lots of work in them, she's absolutely genius and to me one of the best perfumers we have now, also helps the materials are top notch. This spell 125 reminds me of a very high grade frankincense oil I tried once in a masterclass, according to the perfumer, it was a rare 35 years old oil, very high quality, here the ambergris gave it a dusty dry feeling, beautiful creation

I tried it and loved loved the opening, but then it turned in the dry down as pine toalet cleaner. It is definitely not a bind buy.

That’s idiotic, a human heart most definitely weighs more than a feather. What a bunch of evil made up crap. Why are ppl always attracted to evil and the dark forces?. Could it be that we are all sinners and love to sin and truth, beauty and love always comes out in the light and evil is done in the dark. 🤔 That said I too love her perfumes. I own 4 bottles so far. I’d like to try more. I for one don’t care for the back story. It’s just marketing ploy.
