You can choose to reflect and stay where you are but you and also hide during the beginning, use reflect in the middle of the cast and get out at the last tick. It reflect a lot of damages !

there is a reflect in freehold as well, the "oil blade" after you cross the bridge, dudes on the horses, does about 300k, but its quite a quick cast, and you have to be ready after pain motivation.

Any taunt+reflects where you can get meleed aren't worth the risk in high keys situation. Last boss in hoi is actually funny one: on the first week of the season you actually could taunt after boss casts his first part of tank combo and relfect second one (no risks of getting meleed or no need to tank first part of it); now it works compeletely different you actually need to tank 1 auto attack of the boss before the tank combo(because tank combo only casts into the person who got last auto-attack before tank combo so aggro plays no role here) and then full combo will be casted into you, taunts mid combo doesn't work now. So hoi last boss reflect can't be used even in 20 tyra. The only use for that reflect is to make your tanks life easier just by tanking one of this combo if you playing night elf - you can taunt before combo, tank 1 auto-attack, reflect first part of the combo and then just meld the second part. But again in high keys you probably won't survive even 1 auto attack so doesn't worth the risk (if you play arms you can survive it with retaliate, but you will waste your precious defensive cd). 2nd boss in NL same thing you can't time it properly so that you won't get meleed so this one unusable. On 4th boss in uldaman you have to use spell reflect 3 seconds earlier before dot will be applied to you when phase starts (either start of the fight or after you kill all the golems in the intermission and boss goes out of the immune) so you can reflect every single dot during the fight (pretty tight timings).

Tank combo still goes on you if you only tank squall buffet, went down to 60% hp with D stance and enraged regen which should be up for every reflect. You do tank a melee hit if you charge back in however(after the squall), this can be avoided by waiting until the channel cast has been casted. This was a 20 tyra, could also Get a external defensive casted on you by party members, but i agree that is taking it too far

The Weak aura with the timeline of boss spells, I can't see the spell before the one we need to reflect (last boss HoI). Is it because its considered to be a tank crusher ability ? I've tested more than once, it's never in the timeline

On Tsunami, have you tried taunting while it is casting squall buffet on tank? will it finish the cast on tank and then start casting the following ability on you?

If you taunt while its casting squall buffet, the next ability still goes on tank. You could do this week 1, but they changed it so double warrior wasn't BROKEN in this key

Yessir, guide is pretty up to date. There is a weakaura that shows bt crit chance in the description of the guide video, so you dont have to track your stacks. For embelishments, frostfire is still bis. Lariat becomes bis Once your other pieces of gear also have sockets. For raid 2x shadowflame patch is best

I keep getting a big one on HoI last boss. I don't actually know which spell it is and I only get targeted for a split second, I just press SR when the WA pops up and end up with a massive DoT reflect

You're reflecting focused deluge. At the start of the season the boss would cast squall buffet and knock the tank away and then for some reason target the closest player with focused deluge. It wasn't intended and has been fixed to always target the tank but it still very rarely happens. The only way to consistently reflect it every time is the way described in the video by taunting before squall buffet goes out, eating it, then reflecting focused deluge.

I have mixed feelings about spell reflect since he came back, but overall it's just a dps/defensive boost although taunting bosses or trash is the weirdest thing about it and they are the strongest
