This is gorgeous Patti! So elegant! I'm a sucker for filigree. :-) The flower looks to be time consuming, but worth it. It adds so much to the card. Thanks so much for the "how to". Work of art! ~ Lynn

The flowers took a bit to cut and assemble but I just love how they turned out so well worth it, and of course you could use a colored paper instead of inking each petal. Patti

Patti, your card is stunning. I love that die and what you did in cutting pieces in half. That flower took some doing but was worth it in the end. Gorgeous! Veronica
@ASoulsHeartbeat10 жыл бұрын
I agree Veronica, it takes a bit but so worth it for the end result! I'll make more, probably do a lot of cutting at one time and then sit and glue and assemble another. You'll love the Eloquence dies, I've used them a lot and they never disappoint. Patti

When you cut the dies in half it gives you a totally different look and sometimes all you need it a bit stuck in here or there not the complete die. Patti

The colors are lovely - so classic! The die cuts look lovely together - so elegant. The flower is pretty, but looks rather tedious. (How many times did you have to run the die through your Big shot? Very pretty cards - Julie
@ASoulsHeartbeat10 жыл бұрын
You have to run the petal die through 8 times to get enough but it cuts nice and I loved the look. Perhaps there's something similar on your Cameo?
@antm6410 жыл бұрын
This multi-layered card has such a sophisticated appearance. Nice design work! This flower, while pretty, does seem to have s couple of parts that aren't necessary. Why color the centers of the first 2 layers of the center? And why the calyx on the back of the blossom? Neither of these are visible. Seems like a waste of both time and materials. Thanks for making this video. Loved your tips!
@ASoulsHeartbeat10 жыл бұрын
I agree totally Martie, but I'm always changing stuff up so thought perhaps I should do it by the book for the first ones, but unless you were going to see the bottom I think that's a pretty needless layer. Great ideas about coloring as well. Thanks, Patti

Can you please tell me the name and brand of that little punch you used to make the hole to pass the ribbon through? I’d like to search for it and buy it.
@ASoulsHeartbeat5 жыл бұрын
Hi Isabel, thanks so much for checking out my older videos. I did a Google search and the punch is by Stampin Up and called a slot punch. Hope that helps you. Patti

I love filigree and the card is so elegant. But my favorite part was the tip on when you tape something done wrong and it rips the cardstock use the otherside. How did I not think of that! I'm always waiting on glue to dry because I always mess up at least 3 times per card and got sick of messing up my cardstock. Of course if I had flipped it over:) Oh well live and learn.
@ASoulsHeartbeat10 жыл бұрын
Oh think this is funny, I almost edited that part out and then thought what the heck you guys all know I can never make a project all the way through without making a mistake or two. So glad I didn't now because it gave you an idea. And yes the simplest ones are the ones we tend to over look. I think as adults we all over think things just too much, lol. Glad you liked the card, it's ended up being one of my favs. Happy Crafting Patti
