I definitely will keep my finger crossed that it continues to work for me. I love how small it is however love the wide mouth for most of spellbinder dies.

Thanks for demonstrating that the machine has to be “primed” in order to start working properly! I do not like the fact that we have to break in a new machine by forcing the plates through it. This is a procedure we have always been warned not to do when using a die cutting machine. I was convinced my machine was defective when I took it out of the box and couldn’t get it to cut the included dies.

I think some are tighter than others for some reason, but I can say that mine has gotten easier to crank. Have you tried yours again? Try it without the B plate and see what happens.

Love my machine and even my 5 y/o granddaughter was able to use it with some help. Once I conditioned it by , 1. Taking a paper towel and wiping both rollers while cranking machine, 2. I started with passing the embossing sandwich through a couple times with the folder no paper, 3. Passing the cutting sandwich without die, lastly I passed embossing folder again this time with paper,, then cutting die with paper placing the die in the center so that the machine grabbed the sandwich then putting pressure on top the machine to keep it down while cracking the handle. Once broken in you will love this machine! Trust me. I was crafting with this machine while watching TV with hubby. Usually I am in my craft room . Hubby like it when we are together in the living room.

Hi, I guess I didn’t explain myself correctly, my machine worked beautifully since I opened the box up. No problem cutting any die or embossing, I was in love. Then, one day I was cutting for several hours for an event and then it stopped cutting. From that moment on it would not take any die, any weight paper or the embossing folder it came with. I tried all their suggestions for seasoning the machine though it had already been seasoned and used many times. Believe me I loved that thing and am still sad I had to send it back. The bottom line is some work and some don’t and they know that. I’m happy to hear yours is still working and hope you and your granddaughter have many crafty years together.

I’m so happy yours worked! I had to return mine because the plates no matter how hard I just couldn’t get the dies to get through! But I ordered the pink one to see if I have better luck 😊😊

Wow, that's crazy. The rollers must have been extra tight on yours. Glad you got to exchange it. Let me know if the pink works for you. I've used mine a ton now and it's been great. Thanks for commenting!
