@@NakamuraRTS I mean the camera is oriented diagonally instead of horizontally, and my brain at this point hurts from it being horizontal

How do you always end your move in formation? All I know is that I had to hold right click to end the unit in formation. Unlike you, it is as if the formation was set automatically whenever you move them to certain places.

Turn on the formation preview setting and you'll be able to see where your units will go as you hold down the right mouse button. You can drag the formation into different shapes from here. Let go, and they'll move there Do note though, I most of the time don't bother doing this. It only really matters when want to make sure the front line units are actually in front, rather than squishy archers ending up in melee. It's also nice to line up units with splash attacks like Sleepers or Champions

Is there a requirement that every game must have at least one dark elf player?

They are just a super popular and solid faction right now with few weaknesses if played with the Guardian of Nor and lots of early Infiltrators. Just the flavor of this current balance - I remember an era that was full of Orc vs Troll games. I'm sure it will shift again with future patches.

You're going to want to be in the SpellForce discord and use the LFG channel to arrange matches via lobbies these days.
