@@crispytg: Only kinda. He was fired twice, both times due to budget cuts. The first time, after his 2nd season, Will Ferrell lobbied hard to get him back. The second time was after his 8th season, & he said he was cool with it; he's made guest-appearances on the show a few times since then.

@@davidgrenier Lorne has always been way too conservative with a lot of the mediocre sketches that make it to air. I feel like SNL could use a lot more super bizarre, absurdist, WTF humor like this. Another one of Will Forte's sketches I really love is the NASA skit where Jason Sudeikis vomits up a potato chip into his hand. And of course, Clancy T. Bachleratt and Jackie Snad singing Easter duets. So stupid but pure genius.

Such a perfect rolling laugh. Nothing changes in the bit, its just letters, but the audience breaks at different times and then other audience members hear laughing and break too. Such good control of a room.

Forte is such a boss. He completely commits to every character, and I don't recall ever seeing him break (maybe he did, but i didn't see it). Love everything the guy does. Was so sad when Last Man on Earth was canceled.

I love the idea that he was perfectly fine to a point of getting in the final two but the word Business just lit his brain in the exact wrong way
