Spelunking and Trying Indian Sweets at Batu Caves Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾

I take you on a tour of the stunning Batu Caves outside of Kuala Lumpur, in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. It's a Hindu temple with a towering statue of Murugan (I learned this later!) and a climb up 272 steps to the main cave. The view from the top is breathtaking and definitely worth the climb. After exploring, I stopped to enjoy a freshly cut coconut. I took a bit of a walk around and saw beautiful peacocks wandering around the temple grounds. A few monkeys too. To end my visit, I indulged in some Indian sweets from one of the many local vendors here.

Next time ask them to scrape for you the coconut flesh. Normally after finishing the coconut water, you can request them to cut into half and scrape out the flesh for you. Its more convenient if you drink at the shop and request for the flesh. No extra charge. RM6 is touristy price. Normally its around RM5.

I think you misunderstood the indian head shake, its not a no instead it means its fair ( in consideration - the way i see it as pro and con) so you could have had only 4 but don't worry they're all delicious and that orange one is called Jalebi not chilly beets and the others look like indian halva. 😅
