You don't learn about capitals and where countries are on a map. You learn about Physical Geography so The formation of river features, Tectonics etc. and Human Geography so population trends and models, Urbanisation etc.

Dominic McEwen I get it. I'm attending school in Czech Republic that has all its lessons in english and also mainly follows the school system of England. Therefore we have also english geography book, so I know what you learn. But we have also learned the location of countries in each unit when we studied different part of the world. I think it should be quite important part of common knowledge to know as an adult where countries of your continent are (capitals are not so important). But I don't think it is Spencer's or Alex's fault, in fact they eventually answered almost all of the questions correctly. I really enjoy to watch their videos, but how somebody mentioned here, it was painful to watch this video being a ""geography nerd"
