Spencer Lee | WUW 523

Spencer is from Murrysville, Pennsylvania and attended Franklin Regional High School. He was a Cadet World Champ, and the Top ranked pound-for-pound wrestling recruit in the country when he committed to the Hawkeyes. At Iowa he went on to be a 5 time All American, 3 time NCAA Champ, and 2 time Dan Hodge Trophy winner, amongst numerous other accolades, accomplishments, and awards. We got to sit down with Spencer 2 months out from his first Olympic appearance and talk shop. We discuss his career at Iowa, his mindset when he's on the mat, the Olympic qualifiers, the craziest workout he ever did, how he battled through so much injury in his career, his love for Pokemon, and a whole lot more.

Yea He's different he quit on his team at nationals lets see if he makes excuses if He loses im sure if He loses all his fans and himself say he's knees bothering him I think he's a great wrestler but his character and his loses should me what kind of person he is spencer use to winning he totally showed his character at NCAA he didn't have problems with his knee when he's winning he loses then oh he had a torn ACL not buying any of it
