I’ve been trying to shift for the first time for a little while and can’t seem to do it, does anyone have any tips? I’ve tried the raven method and the train method both twice and they haven’t worked

You're not doing anything wrong, though I haven't shifted, I've had my share of advice and am decently educated on it. Every shifting journey is different, and it's a learning experience. My advice? Don't rely on a few methods to get there, because everyone's different and what's comfortable for some might not be comfortable to others, what I do is pick a method, practice it a few nights/days until my brain is accustomed to it, and then move on if I have no luck. There's a vast amount of methods out there, and if you feel none are right for you, you can always create your own. Really just go with the flow and do whatever makes you feel comfortable, I just go with the moment because my brain can't follow steps very well. Also don't rely on symptoms as a sign for shifting, while it can be good, it's not reliable because it doesn't tell you how far you really are. Most symptoms are just your body going to sleep, and some shifters don't get them, me included. but don't look for symptoms while shifting because it grounds you to this reality. IM SO SORRY THIS IS SO LONG- I just wrote mainly what I wished someone told me before I got into shifting realities :')

Yep! The backing track is supposed to help lead you into a meditative zone. I try to repeat affirmations in my head while I listen.

I find it necessary to get close to shifting by using "I am," affirmations. (I am shifting to my desired reality, I am capable of shifting without fault, I am able to shift, I am shifting to my desire reality with ease, etc) It sets the pretense that you're actively doing what you're affirming, and I've always gotten really close to shifitng because of it. It's also helpful to affirm that your body is temporary, sort of like a vessel for this reality and that's it, so that your conciousness isn't so attached to this reality, and you're able to shift easier. I hope these few tips help you in your journey! :)
