Spencer I got you. Im from Argentina so bare with me. Do that new trick of the slide but.. put one long plastic slider(those where you throw soap and water to run and slide) and see how long you can go with the bike and land the trick. Other than that.. You can make some underware of "teflon"(hard plastic that use longboarders to slide with the hands) jaja

I had about a dozen spoke nips (red also) break just like this years ago. It turned out to be because the red ones I chose were lighter aluminum alloy than typically used.

Ordered some rib cage Gsport rims and shadow hubs. The site said spoke length was verified. Built back wheel myself , no issue ( first time building a wheel ever) but when I went to build front wheel, spoke length must’ve been off because I couldn’t lace the three pattern. Only could do the two pattern. Rode once and felt it wouldn’t handle much abuse. Gotta break down the expensive ass wheels and find out who can lace and true my wheels 😭 riverside CA is where I live and I need a shop who does good work

bike mechanic here... those "nips" are probably aluminum. Personally i run dt swiss steel on my freeride bike with steel spokes on the spare wheelset that is rebuilt, the hardcore wheel set is custom titanium spokes with custom brass nips for the best match. but steel nips are the way to go for wheels that are put under a lot of stress.

👍Huskey Nation👍 Thanks lord Spencer! I always look forward to your vids. Glad to see you happy with your new steed. Will you be doing a current bike check in the future? If so, any chance of going over what you like/dislike between the old and new setup. You know like a solid comparison from a riders perspective. You're the man to do it. You've always been honest with us so you have our trust. Thanks again for all you do! Up Tha Huskey Nation! Up Tha BMX!!!👍🤪👍
