Here's how you can use a simple marker pen to help clean up mould seams and joint lines across a whole raft of different modelling projects. Quick and easy!

Bought one in red, one in orange. They work very well. Should have gotten a dark color for contrast on darker plastic. On neutral grey, silver and lighter colors the lighter colors are great.

Great idea. I could have used it on several parts of a dragster kit I built recently (a really old kit. Probably 30 year old one that I "inherited from my dads collection). I'm guessing that the marker type/brand doesn't really matter? As long as it leaves a good smooth mark and doesn't orange peal. Alcohol markers?

G"day Spencer, That's a really great little tip. What other colours would you suggest for models that are molded in black plastic or dark blue? Cheers, BH

Great idea for old models, no use for modern kits with no sink Mark's and perfect wings.

It takes 30 seconds to begin discussing the ideas in this video. How much quicker would you like me to get to them - maybe talk over the opening titles..?
