If you put your onions in the fridge for a bit before cutting them it helps so much with reducing the tears. When I forget, I pop mine in the freezer for like 10-15 minutes. Also, NYT Cooking has a French onion grilled cheese recipe at the looks so good. Between that popping up in my inbox and your recent fiction with French onion soup, it makes me want to give it a go.

Something about french onion soup, as a french person myself, is that it’s such a foreign dish to me. Contrary to french toast, it is something that you can find in Paris when strolling around, but mostly in touristy neighbourhoods. It’s not something that we eat. And, to be honest, I (or pretty much everyone I know) had never heard of it before seeing people talk about it on the internet. So weird 😂

I read ACOTAR years ago but I concur, ACOMAF just hits different, I've reread that book as a standalone like half a dozen times at minimum, it's so good! I read Fourth Wing recently and DEVOURED it, and I'm so ready for the next one to come out. I love both series for different reasons, but it just scratches an itch in my brain
