I’ve had the neck thing happen to me a few times and it’s truly the worst feeling 😭 I found sleeping with a hot water bottle on my neck helped, and sleeping kind of propped up on my pillow, but no painkillers would even touch the pain of it! Hope it feels better soon 🤞🏻

Ahhh I LOVED Shatter Me. Ignite me was my favourite and 5 star read. The Shatter me series has technically 11 parts (6 novels + 5 novellas (split across 3 books)!!! The novellas are read inbetween the novels and give some important info and insight so I would recommend buying the whole series!! Full reading order is on goodreads too. You will want to binge it and it's sooo easy to read (i read it all in 4 days) 🩷

Also the TOG tandem read was my favourite book experience ever.. I have never enjoyed reading so much. If you can get some sticky notes and map out the chapters before hand it's SO easy to read and not scary at all. Was kicking my feet, giggling and screaming the whole time. 10/10 experience, tandem reading is so fun

My advice on the tandem read is to NOT read it in tandem. Read them in order of publication. I enjoyed each of them so much, but I’ve noticed that people who have read them in tandem do not seem to enjoy it as much because it’s just too much all at once.

Normally I also like the start of the cozy season but now it's different for me. I'm in Australia for an exchange semester and I'm staying in a 6-shared apartment in the housing of the university. I do not want the weather to get worse because then I have to spend so much more time inside and hear I don't think that's good for me mentally. Just because I do not feel that comfortable, I mean I'm here just for one semester, so my room is not decorated or anything. And I also often don't feel like hanging out with my roommates but with 5 other people, it's sometimes hard to get silence and everything. With the hot cross buns: I come from Germany and we don't have hot cross buns there but we have something else, it's called "Hefezopf", which is traditionally eaten at Easter time. But I really do like the hot cross buns, maybe I'll make them at home next year for Easter as well
