I feel like laundry is one of those things that people just don't think about much as long as they have a laundry machine in their home, but as soon as you don't, it becomes a whole deal that you have to plan and stuff and takes up a much larger part of your brain. In Sweden, most apartment buildings have shared laundry facilities but you need to book the time when you're gonna use them, so basically you need to commit to a time in advance to do your laundry and stick to it. I used to live in a kind of dorm with so many people that I needed to book my laundry time like two weeks in advance.

I used to have one of those little washers. It worked amazing. I used to put mine in the shower and my showerhead was detachable so I could put it down inside the washer and fill it up. Then I would run the washer then you could just drain it right in the shower. After I was done using it in the shower and I needed to get in the shower, I just said it back outside the shower
