I got a laminator several years ago to review and after practicing with it for the review, I have only used it once. I'm happy that I now can try out other things with it. Just getting into stencils,since I got the stencil and stamp platform. Love the idea of making your own which I have to give this a try. Using cardstock, I don't think I would throw it out. I'd want to cut it up and use it on card base. My OCD! 😄Thanks for Sharing. Always enjoy your videos.

Loving this! I did make my stencils with the plastic binder separation sheets to use with my gel plate last year, need to start using with my distress oxide inks!!! I don't have the worn lipstick one but have the flamingo and raspberry ones!!!! Probably after we move because I need to start packing my craft room!!!! ❤

My laminater came with a carrier sheet (a piece of card approximately 250gsm) stops it from getting stuck on the way out. Another lovely card.

I love the apature card. The banner card needs a bit more (just my opinion) and I think I would have dry embossed the background. It's also because I'm not a huge banner fan.

I have stencils, but I don’t use them much, so I probably won’t make more BUT I’ve picked up two other tips from this video: Put the die cut BEHIND the aperture and stamp the sentiment with distress oxide (which I use most often) then go over it with the sticky ink. 😮 I may even place my next die cut behind the vellum that’s behind the aperture….
