I think the drain pockets in the Tranquility gown or coat (I missed what it was called) are for when you have had surgery. The bags or pouches attached to tubes that drain out the infection or fluid after the surgery usually have to be taped to your body, but this way it can be handily put in a pocket. If course, they are pockets, so really they can be used for whatever you like.

The dinosaur costume!!! The blazer!!! The green lining is like a little secret surprise when you put it on! The new color of your cabinets and walls!!! I agree that six years is nothing for completion of a project... fifteen years is my current best. I am envious of the fabric for your cushions and curtains! I love birds and butterflies, and they're almost hidden in the beautiful contemporary pattern. Maybe the boys would enjoy a game of "Spot the birds?!" You got more done in a day off than I do in a week, my friend! And it was little boy's idea to add teeth to the dinosaur costume??? Raising Creative Kids! Your Christmas pajama bottoms will be adorable! It's so considerate of you to find fabric with dinosaurs - your sons will love them. Good morning! Nice, lovely chatty catch-up. My goodness, busy time in your life! Thanks for the heads up on the Make It patterns, I’d forgotten they are closing. I have that flip jacket and I love it! I have 2 sons who are now in their mid 30’s, when they were 2 & 3, I made them dinosaur Halloween costumes. I didn’t have a pattern, I just attached a tail and the spikes to RTW green hoodies. They looked a lot like what you’ve made for your boy. My guys loved wearing them, and they wore them beyond Halloween. Take care ❤!

I love your makes and the dinosaur outfit is fab. I also have the fabric from IKEA and I am using it to make a Closer Core Pouffe for my fabric scraps and cushions for my conservatory. I’ve also noticed the girl and her machines has the same fabric for her curtains. Stunning and such good value. Seems very good quality as well.😊. Hi Rachel, very likely that the dressing gown has pockets for drains because ladies who have had a mastectomy (or other breast surgery) very often have to have drains inserted in the wound, after the surgery, to drain off fluid from the area. Sometimes hospitals give you a cloth bag to put over your shoulder to carry your bag but having pockets inside a dressing gown is a great idea so that they're not likely to 'catch' on anything.

You don't need a "clapper"... Just use a length of 2X4 piece of whatever wood you must have laying around from your Reno's. I've got a 6", 12", &18" scrap piece of 2X4's that I use to lay on seams after pressing. Those scraps of wood also come in handy when hammering on snaps etc. My gkids have autographed & drawn on them with sharpies over the years. So they're even more special.
