I would wear a structured double breasted blazer with the skirt. A sweater for colder months. A waistcoat is a good choice too. Or for a bit more relaxed, a square neck tank top tucked in with a dainty belt

Love that white skirt, so elegant. It looks like it was cut in a huge circle on the bias. Lovely movement of the material. The black belt cuts you in half and makes you even more petite. I would have paired it with a white blouse in the same shade (or close to it) tucked in at the waist and a belt in a neutral color. Then obviously the bag and shoes would be changed to the same color family of the belt. Or you can keep the vest over the skirt, but make it white and use neutral accessories.

Like you I’m just 5ft.1in and a UK size 6 so I’m looking forward to receiving trousers in a length that actually fit.
