Make sure you do your research on how much energy aussies have, they are a working breed! Many Aussies get dumped into rescue here for neurotic behavior due to not having an appropriate outlet. They were bred for that energy and herding/nipping behavior. 😊

Definitely!! Such beautiful dogs, as are all our aussie working dogs ( kelpies, border collies, blue and red heelers). They are full of energy and are super smart so need a lot of stimulation. They are also very in tune with emotions so make amazing emotional support animals.

Aussies and borders are also the smartest breeds. As long as they get the exercise and attention they need they’ll be just fine. She also added how she IS prepared and wouldn’t of done it if she couldn’t. She’s a great 4-legged mom.

He is so cute!!!. I’m a vet tech! here are some tips- don’t take him out to public places (petco, grooming, pet smart) keep him strictly at home until all 4 series of vaccinations are done so he is fully protected. He can catch parvo, influenza, kennel cough etc.

ZappaChick Yes that’s correct! just like with all vaccines even in humans you are never fully protected. They could definitely catch anything but the risk isn’t as high as dog/puppy that has never been vaccinated before. You are building the immune system (their immunity) up that way if they do catch anything they have a better chance at fighting it off. Also they can be around other dogs ONLY if the other dogs have been fully vaccinated and preferably only in the backyard due to stray dogs roaming in front yards as well as people that don’t take their dogs to the vet or update them and have them walking in other people’s yards possibly a carrier of something - not sure if you knew that 😛

I have a Mini Aussie, some good tips: They have A LOT of energy, so 2-3 walks a day and Mental stimulating activities help with their high-energy throughout the day. Amazon has some great dog mental toys. Start training and association with other dogs early. Happy for you Carli!!

Giving birth twice were definitely the hardest things I’ve ever done, but don’t think for a second you were not made for it! When it comes time your body knows exactly what to do and your mind will just adjust. You will do great and you will feel like Wonder Woman afterwards! ❤️

That’s not true though. My body didn’t know what to do. I never went into labor and if I didn’t have a c-section both of my kids would be dead. I also have a condition where my uterus is only half the size it should be. My body had no clue what to do. I get where you were going with this comment but the problem is comments like “you were made for this” and “your body know what to do” are part of the reason why some women feel like they have failed if their body doesn’t go into labor or if they can’t deliver vaginally. Birth is unpredictable and every pregnancy is different. I definitely did not feel like wonder women after giving birth.

I completely understand how you are feeling especially since I lost my Daddy when I was 30 weeks pregnant. It was very hard since I would do anything to have put my sweet princess in his arms just one time. You are going to be the best Mom in the world and your sweet Dad will be with your baby boy. Benjamin is so cute, his eyes remind me of my dogs I have Siberian Huskies. And yes the baby kicking & moving is surreal, I loved that part of my pregnancies. Lots of love for you & Anthony and your growing family 💝. I have cats too.

Carlie I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the vulnerability and honestly no one enjoys hearing that someone is struggling but realistic we all do and it does comfort others to know we are not alone and even from a distance aka online you can feel connected or comforted from another. Also it makes you more relatable and I love you more for it. P.s I love you and anything together and I’m happy for your little family. You must be in the 3rd trimester. It's the one that feels hardest for many moms. Soon you will be with your baby, having the baby will make up for all the challenges. I was thinking maybe putting nail covers on the kitties will help protect you, and the baby from those occasional scratches. Sending you much affection from Las Vegas!

I feel you. 29 weeks pregnant. Body is changing. Feeling tired and sometimes overwhelmed. Working a lot ( nurse ). Taking care of my doggy as well! It feels good to hear that I can feel bad or be exhausted and it still is alright. Thanks for the inspiration as always ! 😁 I’m learning to take care of myself so I can take better care of others. Carli, This was such a great vlog. I cried so hard when you told the story of your dad and what happened at the paint shop. That is 100% a sign and you are blessed to feel him coming thru. As I have aged I have lost so many loved ones and it's a pain that never goes away but your dad will live on thru your son. It is also said that if he has your dad's name as a first or second name your dad will always be linked to his life to protect him as a twin spirit. Love you and I am sending loving energy your way.
