Independence is something so many people struggle with. I myself am a pretty reserved person, and I love taking time for myself to get a deeper understanding of myself. So many of my friends are so attached to people and they can’t imagine sitting alone in silence. I’m glad your talking about this

yes! spend time with yourself, but don’t get too comfy being alone and start alienating yourself from others. in the end, life’s about making connections and meeting new people and spending time with others. i think there needs to be a good balance between the two

Something I recently learned about myself is that I like being alone but I don’t like being lonely (I don’t know if that makes sense) I don’t mind good company even if we were doing our own thing. I can definitely relate about the friend influencing you. My mom has a saying in Spanish that translates to tell me who you hang out with and I’ll tell you who you are. That made me very reflective of who I give my time to 🍕
