You HAVE to get to the DMV like 20 minutes before they open!! There's usually a line outside the front door or you'll get lucky and be the first one but that's what I do and only spend like 10-15 minutes tops. If you're not there before they open, you'll be there for hoursssss

you know if you get an editor they don't have to do EVERYTHING like they can do the rough part at the beginning and take care of the big pieces, all the rough cutting, and then you can finalize the rest by yourself the way you like it and maybe still feel like you're in control a little bit. i'm sure that would be a huuuuuge pressure off your shoulders
