been wearing glasses since i was 12 years old! got into contacts because i was a dancer. my advice is to get disposable contacts!! that way you can wear them, then throw them out. no need to worry about contact solution ❤️

Hay Georg! Contact wearer here! I've been wearing them since I was 14 (my eyesight was bad enough for the doctor to recommend this, and for context I'm 21) and I honestly don't see my life without them, its super practical and once you get the hang of the care they need, it's super easy. I definitely recommend you trying them out, it has made me feel more beautiful and confident. Besides, I think not wearing your glasses even though you need them is the worst thing anyone can do to their eyesight and its not like you would be taking the contacts out in the middle of the day :) Hope this helps!

I highly recommend talking to your optometrist about overnight contacts! My parents were introduced to them 12 years ago and have got my aunty and uncle hooked on them too since. The particular ones they have are a very large up front investment, but all you have to do is put them in at night and wear them as you would a retainer. When you take them out in the morning, your eyesight is as if your wearing glasses. I hope that this is helpful, as I know these types of contacts aren't very well know, but I've seen them be life changing to those closest to me.

I wear contacts and glasses! I have daily contacts and I set a 12 reminder on my phone to take them out when I wear them! I do tend to go for glasses because they are easier. And I will say play around with the shape of your glasses it can make a huge difference on how you feel in them! I have recently gone for an aviator style and they fit my face well and I wear all the time because they are CUTE! Hope this helps!

I loved wearing contacts over glasses. I never forgot they were in as I set everything up next to my toothbrush so it kinda became a routine. Eventually I got laser eye surgery in 2020 and it was the BEST decision.

Don’t be too hard on yourself regarding fitness and the gym. It’s totally fine to just not enjoy the gym and not go, it’s listening to your body, you don’t have to fit into the norm of fitness ❤

You got this Georgia! I’ve worked out consistently for years and something that I’ve (and many other lifters) found is that motivation pretty much doesn’t exist like 90% of the time. I can’t wait till I’m in the mood bc then it would almost never happen. Routine and discipline is the only reason I’ve been able to achieve my goals. And the payoff is great too!! Don’t burn yourself out and you’ll slay the day away queen

Hey! I wear contact lenses and yes I like the look of them better than glasses, but.. it has made me so lazy and I barely ever wear them other than for school. I also forget I have them in but somehow remember when I'm about to go into the shower. I would recommend them if you have a pair of glasses to just pop on when you can't be bothered putting the contacts in! And they may make your eyes a bit irritated and are difficult to put in at the beginning but hope this helps! :) xx

I started wearing contacts years ago and ngl it takes some getting used to putting them in (atleast it did for me) but the optometrist specifically has appointments they have you come to so they can teach you how to do it. That being said I love contacts. I spend more than I’d like for a 6 month supply but I want them enough I do it anyway. I personally have a bad habit of ripping mine so it sucks 😅 but you just gotta be gentle, plus if you have daily’s instead of monthly’s it’s not an issue. Also I literally never forget I’m wearing them at the end of the day cuz if they’ve been in your eyes a while (atleast for me) they get kinda dry. I try to wear them around 8 hours a day so only while I’m out tho I definitely don’t always stick to that … it’s just very very nice to not have to deal with the physical feeling of glasses on your face plus makeup gets ruined.
