Why does it need to stop? 1) It isn't pay to win 2) The game needs money to keep making great things like Arcane 3) It is people spending their own money, for literally no competitive advantage at all. If this upsets you then its literally just you are bitter or jealous. 4) Loot boxes suck when you don't hit, but are great when you do hit. If you seen his other video for the $200 miss fortune skin he literally got the skin twice in about 6 capsules which saved him a bunch of money.

The part that sucks is that you used to just be able to buy some of these (chibi jinx, vi, Ekko) skins outright for money. No loot box needed. Now the only way to get them is to buy enough loot boxes to get enough of the mythic crystals to buy them or get them through the loot boxes. And you only get 1 guaranteed mythic crystal for every 50 loot box you buy. Other than the milestones ones. It used to also be you would get the SKIN after opening 60 loot boxes not just a single mythic stone. It has become extremely price gouged, if I hesitate to use the word predatory. I don't have a problem supporting a game and buying skins and used to buy a lot through Riot for both League and TFT, but the loot box system is busted.
