Hey Ryan- I've never sold any of my cards. Still have cards from the early 90s plus from 17' on. Never sold 1 I wear gloves when opening, put directly into sleeves all rookies, #d, hits, etc then top loaded/1-touched the goodies. I also have some sealed products. Is it worth the $ to grade a ton of stuff or do you recommend selling like it is. Great condition. Also, trying to decide how to sell some as I'm getting older, I'm computer "illiterate" etc.. Trying to decide if maybe it's better to set up and sell at a show OR maybe take them to an LCS and sell what I can? Need to narrow down, no kids and getting older. Want to narrow to mainly my Chiefs PC but not sure how. I want new products & Mahomes goodies, do need to make some $$$ or at least trade some stuff, just not sure the best route. My criticism for this guy is when he's dealing with store owners, his handling of the cards is aggressive. Watch from 8:15-9:35. He says "pull out the (various cards)" instead of asking "Can I get the...card." At one point in that timestamp window, he's pulling out the cards himself while the store owner is sitting down next to him. Let the store owner get it for you if he's that close. That's my criticism and I see it in a lot of his videos.

i hope the card store doesn't give you a deal but stick to their sticker price and gouge the hell out of a little kid because they can tell the kid really wants the card. happened to me alot as a kid and i gave up on the hobby for 20 years. greed is a hell of a thing. lots of people have it coming to them out there.

The story that isn't told with comps is not just what was the last one sold? Fine... one sold for X amount. NOW... go find someone else willing to pay that much for that card. Maybe you just got 2 guys in a bidding war and the person who didn't win is actually glad. OR... maybe you just found the one guy willing to pay $40 on a buy it now. That doesn't mean someone else will pay that much for it. Comps are misleading. I deal with this all the time as a bigtime Bo Bichette collector.

As a business if people don’t know the aim is to make double what you spend on product at minimum not saying this is how they do it. so if you think he’s doing this to blow money you are sadly mistaken

It depends what business you’re in. There’s no way he’s doubling his money. Ryan’s buying at about 80%. You just don’t get those type of margins in this business. Which is fine, because you’re flipping fast If youre buying something for $1000 and without much effort at all you sell for $1200. That’s not bad. You don’t have to double it If Ryan was looking to double his money. He wouldn’t make as much money . It’s about buying volume.
