An hour of content? …yes. Edit-I just finished watching it. Tears were shed, a shady businessman explained some weird steampunk Scaramouche…? Not exactly sure, but it was fantastic. An hour of this stuff was so great, man. The tangents were very understandable, very funny as well. Seeing this thing come together was so cool, and I’m so excited to see your OC stuff in the future. I know it’s gonna be great. We love Jauneathan (amazing joke) and the artstyle, humor, and personality behind it. Also with the second side quest, the amount of respect for being more vulnerable is unmeasurable and I’m really glad you kept in that reality. I understood the whole running out of time thing on a large level (I tried to reword that like 4 times. That’s the best we’re getting) and it’s seriously fantastic that you shared every bit of the process and your headspace-not just the happy or neutral bits. I smiled so much at your favorite bit of Dream Sweet In Sea Major. It’s such a great song fr dude. Anyway! So excited for the future projects, Jaune!!!! WHSBDIIWKAKASHYKPW. my favorite type of character is the artist who draws borderline psychological horror and then memes the shit out of it edit: we are on opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to existential dread. you think too much, dreading that you might not achieve greatness within one lifetime. meanwhile i can't fathom to think of my future, even plan a day ahead, because i'm too scared to start anything when i might just fail at it. i'm at an complete impasse and mind you, 3 years older than you, behind everyone else when it comes to my studies or any sort of personal growth. from my perspective, the way you perservere or even possess something as simple as a goal, longterm or shortterm, is incredible and not something to be downplayed. i wish we could balance each other out, me taking a smidge of your workload and discipline while you get to relax and not pressure yourself into a precipice of a burnout. idk where i was going with this, local debate master here. but yeah, take a step back and be proud of what you've created so far

as i am writing this comment, i am not quite done watching: but i will say this now. thank you so, so much for sharing your work with us: you are an amazing artist, and this video is just a delight to watch. i love how you explain your feelings; and even admit that it was tedious and frustrating at times. your process is very, very interesting to see as well, and i wish i could go through your storyboards in person. badjaune, you are an inspiration, so really, this comment is there as a testament of my gratitude for you and your art. you are a wonderful artist. thank you for creating, thank you for taking the time to put your thoughts in such a long video - thank you.

This is the exact kind of video I needed to see. There’s an underlying topic but with long side quests and serious and funny parts and it looks amazing and so creative and is so individual and inspiring. Also, love the animatic!!!! I knew absolutely nothing about all of the characters in it or those mentioned in the steampunk au because I Don’t Play Genshin, so your ramblings and creations are now my personal canon. Speaking of the steampunk au, when you described the opening sequence I could see it in my head so clearly, your description was wonderful (and i enjoyed the whole story, what a great sendoff). for context i’m an aspiring game designer, so I’m thinking about this stuff constantly, which definitely helped me visualise it. i feel like you should know throughout this video i was picking up my notebook and writing down an idea easily every 5 minutes. everything just oozes passion and personality. also the various bits were fantastic i laughed raucously multiple times in a roundabout way this video has clarified some things (like how i want to approach my life and what i make, however very serious that sounds) for me, especially the tangential nature of it and the unvoiced segment. LOVE THE BINARY ALSO, have yet to translate it all because i am very tired currently. gah i just cannot even describe how much this video hit so right in every way for me. thank you for making this i’m off to probably sleep? or draw? or do that homework i have due but no matter what i’ll be thinking about this for a WHILE ok off to watch a bunch more of your videos. love your art :D

Its simply amazing and charming and im absolutely here for it. the steampunk AU is really cool wtf- also, i get the stress you feel about life, and creating all you want in time. i get that way often. i have four books and ten video essays and twenty art projects that i haven't touched in weeks because, i don't know, i feel afraid to continue them, i feel so scraed that if i complete one- well i won't know what to do next. but, i know completing something like big or small that you can be proud of it's a feeling that isn't replaceable. people don't like the things i create, or, maybe its me who doesn't. but when i complete it, it feels worth it. what i lack is motivation. or maybe it's not. well. I'm sorry for this rant, but, i felt the need to comment something. time is scary. and hard to understand. i really don't want to leave this earth without completing at least one video essay, and publishing at least one book- or making an animatic i can be proud of. all i want to say now is, thank you so much for showing that it isn't actually as easy for other people as my brain tells me it is, and there are people out there who have similar struggles as me. i apprietate that and I'm sure others do too. (also ur really good at piano)

It hurts feeling that way. Always feeling like you're making the wrong choices even if you're in a situation others can only dream of. It's like why can't we ever enjoy the moment we're in? Just do what you wanna do, a lot that you think you wanna do, is probably caused by other people making you think you should. For me, I find just actually listening to my gut, that small, innocent voice, I actually find what I want to do most and know what I should do for myself, for me. I understand a lot of the troubles youve conveyed and its truly inspiring knowing that there's people out there thinkign consiously about their decsionns and trying to work on them, rather than just "doing things" for the sake of them. Just you thinking about "why?" is evidence enough that youre on the right path. Faith in yourself is the highest form of respect and the best guide. Trust you, you made this happen. No one else. Your art is riveting to me, its truly inspirational, and as an artist i find a lot of joy in how you display your work and convey your views. I cant give you all the answers to your troubles, not because I think Im incapable, but because me, myself, might not even be able to translate it in a way that makes sense, for you. So know this, you can only truly learn something first hand, I believe that for myself anyway. Everything is "inevitable" but thats just a warped perception of everything being possible. Lifes actually quite fun, so when you can, let yourself enjoy it. Not for anyone else, but for you and yourself. Im grateful for everything youve done regardless of anything else, so thanks.

hi i really just want to say that i'm soo soo glad that you pushed through with the animation, despite all the roadblocks along the way. it was such an honor actually being able to watch this video? your thought processes through different moments, and i really do appreciate the vulnerability & the discussions about more negative emotions (i.e. breaking down, the crisis, etc etc) and all the different tangents were really amazing to hear. your friends from university are so correct when they say that your artwork is really good, and truthfully, absolutely inspiring. this video + being able to see/hear the different parts of your process, too, is incredibly inspiring to watch/listen.

You only have 20 ??? WITH ALL THIS TALENT??! GIIIIRLLLL, give yourself a big pat on your back!!! You are doing IT! You are improving, creating, thinking... You are ahead of so much people but you perfectionism is bringing you down. I had the same ideas when I was your age, fear of being mediocre, that my life will end when I turn 25, that all I need is to have a breakthrough in my early twenties to succeed in life... Next year I will be 30, currently no job, I don't have shit figured it out, still living with my parent BUT: I am so much happy now, I don't feel so inadequate all the time, I learned that you don't need to do PERFECT things you just need to DO IT, learning takes time and lucky us that humans can learn at every age. Tolkien wrote the Hobbit at the ripe age of 45!!! LIFE DOESN'T`T END AT 25 I promise! I'm currently learning 3D art for videogames, this August I participated in my first gamejam and it was SO FUN, knowing new people , making the thing that I love was so rewarding and challenging at the same time! We humans are so silly thinking that we need to do all by ourselves when is so much better when the burdens of creation are shared :3 If you want to learn a bit of 3D to improve your environments I recommend you the program Blender, It's free and there are tons of tutorials, just... DON´T START WITH THE DONUT TUTORIAL (seriously, protect you sanity haha). I send you a big warm hug from spain, and take care!

I already know this comment will be long, so brace yourself… When picking this video to watch, after a tiring day I honestly thought I’d skip through it, or not watch the entire thing, but the way it was edited and made, I could not exit it. Everything felt interesting and relevant in a strange and satisfying way. Around the part when you started talking about overworking yourself, this whole video started feeling like an art piece on its own. It’s difficult to put into words, but all the bits and gags, all the effects and compositions. They had intent and emotion. The pantalone/dottore animatic was what brought me into your account and honestly, seeing the extensive process behind it is very insightful. All in all, there may not be a point in this comment at all (I NEVER write comments on videos because it feels silly), but I felt as though I needed to share my thoughts. Hopefully you’re doing well now, and any new and potential projects will be just as satisfying and less stressful than this one!! Have a great day :)

God this video was amazing I can say that the chance that you will lose interest in the project after a break is quite small (if you do not have procrastination, and if you do, the main thing is to convince yourself to sit down at the computer and start drawing a little after a long break). Forcing yourself to draw to the point of hysteria is very, very bad! (this is one of the types of self-harm) As I understand correctly, you have a problem with the fact that if you do nothing, you feel worthless. I just want to tell you that doing nothing is NORMAL. It is normal even when you can lie in bed all day and watch TikTok. This makes you human, you do not become less valuable if you just sat on your ass and stared at the wall. The main thing is that you feel good. I know from personal experience that this is difficult to accept. I really liked your animatic, you just did a great job! (and I also really liked your piano playing) ((Sorry for the mistakes, I use Google translator Lol))

BADJAUNNEEEE I LOVE UR ART
@The_Eternal_Sleep2 ай бұрын
Just listened to this entire thing while drawing. This video is my new "put something in the background while I work" Also, you are amazing. From your art to how you make it and all the fun silly stuff. The commentary is amazing 10/10 chef kiss 🤌. You also inspired me to actually USE colors and not just learn about them, and watching your stuff helps me get in the "I should do something" headspace. All in all such amazing work (also the crisis is also valid because same, it's prob an artist thing (not to sound invalidating sorry)).
