This video is a montage of the past month of August. First month of ownership was a bitch with this car haha. Spent the entire first month just tracking down small leaks from loose bolts, adjusting my idle/timing, and just overall getting used to the car. Finally got her where I want her and excited for whats next. Also, technically purchased $4k worth of mods but I haven’t installed my SVE subframe connectors yet. Same! I have always been a GM/Pontiac guy but loved the 87-93 Notchbacks. Now that I own one and am involved in the community I'm starting to love the look of the 4 eyes. Still getting used to the whole 5.0 Ford EFI

Did you change the differntial bushings? When you upgrade the LCAS usually you dont need quad shocks. I dont run them and beat the piss out of the rear lol

No I didnt, previous owner had changed them a few months ago so there was no need. I like running stiff shocks/struts and not having quads made a huge difference even with the old suspension. I dont know if most foxbody owners just thug it out because its an old school muscle car but i DAILY this fox so i felt every time there was a bump, my car would slightly recline back almost as if the chassis was looking for the extra bracing. I also drive it hard around corners and i could feel in damp conditions, my rear end would start to lift/bounce from not having the extra shocks pushing the axle down to the ground. Is there even any benefits to running no quad shocks other than clearance for bigger wheels? I dont see why anyone would want to take the quad shocks off

@@713alexgt I daily mine too I don't have any issues, if it help's definitely keep them. The whole reason ford even added quad shocks is to compensate for the rear end play due to the stock control arms having oval style bushing allowing the rear end to move back and forth. When you replace the lower control arms with good ones they use a solid round bushing to eliminate wheel hop etc.

@713alexgt yeah I used it like a truck for the longest time lol and it looks like you have adjustable rear shocks and you mite have them on the soft setting that's why it bounces a lot

@jameshuffstutler8298 Thats sick bro ! love to hear it ! and I do! They have 18 clicks of adjustability, I had it on 6 all around since my tires almost rub but since installing my quads, i lowered the rear to 3 clicks but definitely the quad shocks made the difference bro, HUGE difference

@713alexgt I took the quads off a long time ago when I got upr adjusting upper and lower control arms and a abject shocks and I have a 17x10 with a 285 40 17 tire with no rubbing

I have 15’s with a 60 sidewall lmfao my fronts are about an inch from rubbing and are currently tucking a bit

That thing would have been louder if you got flows or borla mufflers straight piping that 302 don't make it louder on a ls it becomes loud but it ain't good sound there's a reason these big name exhaust companies cost so much if the straight pipe was better no one would buy the expensive exhaust plus no mufflers has this loud tone not a good rumbles
