Okay let me explain why Double Thrower wasn’t a bad play and why Surge was picked. To begin, I’m pretty sure that FUT Esports wanted SpaceStation Gaming pick Chuck in Heist as a last pick so that the Surge would counter him however, this backfired because they picked double throwers. SpaceStation Gaming picking Larry & Lawrrie and Barley wasn’t a bad idea because both brawlers hard counter Surge because they are throwers and by picking double thrower, they were also able to fight against the Dinamike and if we factor in the Gale which had the slow star power, this made it extremely hard for the Surge to get even one super. (Like seriously, he got his super when there was only 27 seconds left on the clock in the first match) Larry offered a great defense against the Rico and Dinamike who already were struggling against the Gale and Barley was the one who helped Gale pinch Surge many times and deal the most damage to the safe. SpaceStation Gaming took a big gamble and they benefited it from it by picking Double Thrower.

@@WhaleSomes Edgar would’ve been a bad pick. For one, this would let them open for a Chuck or Tank pick such as El Primo or Bull which would made the match even worse. Yes the Edgar could deal with the Barley but the Gale would benefit from those encounters and get his super sooner than he should. And finally, Edgar has a history in Brawl Stars esports for causing the most loses. I think he only won a team a match 2-5 times in the whole history of the game. If FUT had the 6th pick and Space Station Gaming had the 5th pick and decided to go double thrower, they would’ve lost however, luck wasn’t on their side.
