That’s so nice to hear! That sounds like a great goal with the kitbashing, and I reckon this scheme is probably one of the best for speed painting orks that I’ve tried. The skin is always the area I struggle with on speed paints but this was so easy!

Excellent work! I’m going to use this for my Wrecka Krew. I’ll probably freehand some dags & black flames too.

Thank you! Absolutely, those freehand bits and pieces were something I was missing on these with the time frame

Great painting tutorial, where/how did you get the rocket effect from?
@SpensPainting23 күн бұрын
Thank you! They come in the kit ☺️

@ ohhhhhh…… Lucky me then I guess, haven’t seen any images of these on the models. Thanks for the reply, keep up the videos

I was really surprised that they haven't used them in any of the official paint jobs

Do you thin your contrast paints at all or use them straight from the pot?
@SpensPainting22 күн бұрын
Directly from the pot except for the Black Templar used on the smoke, that is 50:50 with water 😊

How’d you do the conversion for the rocket hammer? I didn’t even think of that but I’d love to give one of my orks a bigger boom!
@SpensPainting23 күн бұрын
It’s super easy! Just snip of the old rocket and there’s an indent on the bigger one that the sick fits right into ☺️

hi spen, ive recenlty aqquired a load of tamiya paints off a friend who is going travelling so offloaded them to me for free, can you thin tamiya paints for airbrush with water or normal acrylic thinners? or do you have to use the specific tamiya thinner? just curious as to what you used here, thanks
@SpensPainting18 күн бұрын
I believe most Tamiya acrylics are alcohol based so need either isopropyl alcohol or the Tamiya X20A thinners (I use the X20A)

@ awesome thanks mate, I enjoy your vids as you’re probably the most relatable painter for me, my whole process is similar to yours and I like your results. Your stuff has genuinely helped me a lot in my journey. Ty dude
