I did this on a set of style 5 (BBS RC 090) but I polished on the other side (new lip). I agree keeping it the machined look doesn't overpower the whole look of the wheel. Keep up the great videos!

Tip: once you go to put the face back on, coat the pilot holes in pb/wd40 on a rag. Prevents rust from forming, easier removal later.

flipped barrel setup* people do this with 2 piece wheels all the time to make more poke for cheap(free) unless you pay to have it done which usually isnt too much, prob $25 per wheels.

Yes sort of. If you have a higher offset wheel with weak ass fitment. If you flip it you can run some sick camber and possible get away with this method

I believe that you should’ve mounted the face on the front side of the barrel and put them in the rear and not change the fronts around but, just media-blast the barrels to a similar finish
