Lord DF, I found a way to break wizard of legend. First you need the "Token of Wealth", if it's not there use the portal to get back to your house then go back to the shop, rinse and repeat. The token of wealth allows doki the banker to spawn. He gives you chaos gems for gold. Boom infinite chaos gems, also get dragon surge, it's OP

When you quit the game it saves your information, which includes what relic was spawned when you entered the room. If you alt-F4 right away the game shouldn't have a chance to save. Unless the Dev put in safeguards like it saving as soon as you drop into the level.

DF, if you transmute a relic and it turns into a bomb upgrade you can take it (if you're using a transmute bomb) and gain a free bomb, then just pick up your transbomb and transmute the bomb upgrade. This way you can also make shop relics cheaper i think atleast

I've tried exploiting this a billion times and this is what I learned. Floors can change entirely, and you'll have two floors at that point that'll switch between eachother. Relic rooms will almost always have the same relic and path (With transmutagen bomb), but just like the floors, they can switch between eachother. Sometimes the path can also change slightly but has only happened twice to me. Shops are the most interesting, I've resetted several shops over 100 times, and they appear to have a limited pool of items that the shop will select a random amount from, and I believe there's only 3 relics and like 5 potions, just like the floors and relics, there can also be a second pool of items that the shop can choose between, but hasn't happened a lot yet. Anywho, tips for the day, alt f4 and just escape quitting does make a difference, so use them both, and trying to get a specific relic or potion on a certain floor is not always possible if they aren't in any shop pool or relic path on that floor. This trick also works if you die at a boss, alt f4 will bring you back to the fourth floor of that dungeon, which will make it impossible for you to actually die. Slightly cheaty though

DF, whenever you find a bomb relic while you have transmute bombs you can just pick it up for 1 free bomb as well as restoring the item's HP for more transmutations (items have 5 hp, so 4 transmutes until you can bomb it no more)

love the content, things of note that might help you out: I think it's 4 bomb transmutes before you break the relic, if it turns into a bomb relic u can pick it up, and switch back to your transmute bombs to reset the dmg on the item Picking up a bomb relic gives you a free bomb so if u see one it's worth just picking it up and then switching back for the free bomb. also the synergy between golden delish, food duplication and duplication potions is insane, you should try it :D thousands and thousands of gold

It actually works in a weird way. To change items on quiting the game and restarting you need to change your order of visiting rooms. If you use the same order item rooms and enemy layouts will be the same, but if you take another order it should change both. Thats why aegis stayed the same, while leftovers changed. Im no expert but I think it has something to do with the protocol it follows for the next room visited by checking what the current room was.

I think when you load a floor it chooses from random a certain number of items, then loads them in. When you restart your game, it uses the same table, but loads different items in. This could explain why relics dont change but shops do, and why your transmute bombs give the same relics.

Unlock the Food doubling potion, then use the alt-f4 trick and transmute shops to get the Golden Delicious (all food is golden), the Gold and Food popcorns, and 4/5 Food doubling potions, then go to a shop and start drinking. Thank me later :) P.S: Spirit pet gives you +1 potion slot, its worth it on a run like this.

I would hazard a guess that the shop is a pseudorandom selection based on a seed number which is set when you initially start a run. It would explain why you tend to find the same things commonly even though they can change

I think, each run or time you go down, it probably pulls from a pool of items for each level of the run. It might be soft locked into each of those items to discourage the resetting you were trying to do.

When you have transmute bomb and you get a bomb from a relic you can pick up the bomb to reset the item durability for transformation otherwise you only get a total of 4 bombs before it breaks

basically the reason why some things changed and some others didn't, is that the random generator used for the shops / relics / level layout is the same, and while it is reloaded with your save file, it's affected by the things that you do while you play. which results in different things every reload. but sometimes you didn't act differently enough and so you ended up with the exact same relics. it's also the reason there are only so many different options after a reload, it has the same starting point :P

When you have the transmute bomb and see a different bomb relic available you should still pick up the other bomb relic. It gives you a free bomb and your transmute bombs will just fall on the floor. Then pick up your transmute again and change the useless bombs to something else

So, I currently have a theory for how the relics are generated by viewing your video. Relics are randomly generated then put into a stack or queue. This means that if the game generated a list of relics the next relic on the list would be put into the shop and then removed from the list of relics to be placed, and if there is more than one relic being sold in the shop it would put the next relic in the list in the shop to be sold. Furthermore, this list applies to the whole dungeon floor and the relics would be generated by room. So the relic rooms would get priority over the shop rooms. As an example, let say there are five relics on the list "Ursine Ring, The Keyblade, Transmute Bomb, Sonic Boom, The Inverter" First it would generate based on rooms on the current floor. So, it would check item rooms and place the next relic which would be Ursine Ring. Which would change the list to be "The Keyblade, Transmute Bomb, Sonic Boom, The Inverter" With this example there are no other static spawns, such as a secret relic room. Then it would do the shop, so lets say this time you did the floor the shop randomly decided that it wanted only 1 relic to be sold. The next relic would be The KeyBlade making the stack "Transmute Bomb, Sonic Boom, The Inverter" Then if you went to back to the relic room and transmuted the Ursine Ring the next relic would be the "Transmute Bomb" Then if you went back to the shop to use the transmute that was in the room it would turn the relic into Sonic Boom The example slightly modified So, it would check item rooms and place the next relic which would be Ursine Ring. Which would change the list to be "The Keyblade, Transmute Bomb, Sonic Boom, The Inverter" With this example there are no other static spawns, such as a secret relic room. This time there will be 3 relics sold at the shop which will be The Keyblade, Transmute Bomb and Sonic Boom Then if you go back to transmute Ursine Ring it would turn into The Inverter.

Restart until you find the freeloader's drought (get an item in any shop for free including doors that need keys and much more), then do another floor, make sure it's saved your freeloader's drought, then restart until idiot supreme's curse shop appears and use the freeloader's drought to get his stuff for free. No curses. Except for the negatives of the relic itself (like glass cannon) of course.
