It appears to be some sort of opposite reflection of the headlights. For example, at 38:52, at the lower right a car’s bright headlights are facing the camera straight on. At that exact moment the bright light appears on the upper left. When you see a light streak across the sky, there’s an automobile with bright headlights driving in the opposite direction. You will also see the light disappear and reappear in the sky, when cars pass bright headlights that are facing the camera. I really thought it was unexplainable lights initially, but I kept getting distracted by the bright headlights at the same exact moment the bright lights in the sky were appearing. I was like… wait a minute, this cannot be a coincidence. So I started to track the lights in the sky with the cars.
