I never could understand why people would think that the Necromancer is weak. Seriously it's one of the most overpowered battle classes ever known.

its because most people tend to look at them being weak on their own, in terms of strength and defense. since most depictions are just mages with the only ability to control weak skeletons or weak spirits, and most people forget litches are technically necromancers who managed to become immortal by placing their soul into a vessel.

100 days as a Plague Doctor (with the parasite mod) 3 ancient spirits (representing Nausea, Blindness, and Poison) have invaded the world with them creating a deadly plague that has taken over most of the world (the plague being represented by the Parasite mod) Now you, a humble Plague Doctor, must learn to survive in this infected world before then taking down the ancient spirits, including their leader aka the God of Wither, and restore the world to how it used to be. Y’know, I’ve always had this thought in my mind. why do necromancers even use scythes?Matter fact, why would they use any kind of bladed weapon? I mean it just damages the corpse more, it wouldn’t be as viable for summoning the corpses, neither would hammers work, so why not use a rapier or something that can stab or kill quickly and with minimal damage to the corpse.

Actually, usually the scythe is an op weapon. They usually can bless it with their power, it's long range, etc. Plus necromancers don't care usually if the corpse is damaged. They usually depend on numbers more than power. Scythes is just mostly for long range and need to take out multiple people at once. Sorry for the rant lol.

@@denyelherting9202 I’m sorry, but you’re completely wrong, the scythe is objectively a bad weapon compared to basically any other weapon, yes they can usually bless or enchant it but that applies for other weapons too, and it’s long range, yeah I agree with that as it does have a long range, but then why not use a spear?Or perhaps a war scythe instead of a normal scythe?Not only that but they should care if the corpse is damaged as controlling a vast amount of damaged corpses is not as useful as controlling a vast amount of normal corpses.

you know, if your only binding the souls od those you kill and are not raising any corpses or calling forth souls from the afterlife (that you yourself haven't killed) then your less of a nekromancer and more of a ghost binder

From what i know, there's multiple types of necromancers. Yes the fommon one is resurrecting the dead. Ghost binders are technically necromancers just a different type.

If you have lycanite's mobs, and set all the summon coats of everything to 0, and have this mod, you can summon a ton of minions And then you can use the 0 cost tameables you upgraded to level 50+
