Have a look at doing rears up front RUF uses rear springs in the front with a banana shackle. Pushes the front diff forward a bit more and gives you waaaay more flex.

Can you give me some tips on fusions. I am in the middle of building a ladder rack for a jeep gladiator
@davidlodge44826 ай бұрын
Not really a tip for fusion but. If you have access to their other software (Autodesk inventor) unfortunately it's not free like fusion but you might be able to find some uni kid with a student lisence to help you. The frame generator function makes light work of pretty much any structural steel work. Will automatically add mitres and calculate those angles for you

@caltravels94546 ай бұрын
As far as I am aware, you don't save much weight using aluminium, it is soft and lighter sure, hence to get strength you use a lot more Ally, on the plus side ally wont rust like steel, but it still does 'rust' in its own way, Ally wont bend and endure stress like steel, just like rims, you bust a ally rim ya done, steel you can beat back into shape, moral of the story, fuck aluminium.
@somerandom72156 ай бұрын
Built trays for years, alloy is fine as long as you dont put any weight on it lol.
