G'day Sam, just a suggestion for the heat coming through the floor. In my previous job we used a felt blanket called Panther Felt which allowed us to work in close proximity to hot pipe lines. It worked so well you could wrap a 300 degree pipe in it and easily hold your hand on and it and it would only feel warm. I hope this comes in handy.

I'm surprised out of all the mods the gearbox is the weakest link of the patrol yet it's never broken CVs if anything I would have thought the CVS would be the weakest link as I tend to go bang pretty easy in Land cruisers

Hey use the NV4500 just fix the fifth gear retainer first. Also Louvre the hood it will dramatically lower the engine temps. Also are you running an oil cooler?
