In the previous video you said not use SetState in the render method to avoid dead lock, but here you have used setstate to set status

I was going to comment about the setState() call within the render method, too. Mixed messages with no explanations aren't very helpful.

SetState methos is used in onclick event of a button. Its just that onclick event method is written in render method. So, by default setstate will not be executed until and unless one click the button which prevent the process to go in infinite loop process.

You make it very easy to learn spfx. Some more videos I want to see is how to use our custom css which can be stored in SiteAssets instead of using scss so that it will be easy to update the css if ever wanted. And also how to import images from Images library. Theses all are very basic things but in want you to make a short video on all such small things that will cover this kind of point.

Hi, I was trying to follow you. The GetList works fine. However, the post requests are not working and getting error "Error is: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0". FYI: I am passing the spfx context as : pagecontext and also checked by setting the sp header as "accept":"application/json; odata=nometaadata" but the error still exists. I am unable to move forward with PNP Post requests. Can you please help me to identify the solution? Thanks in advance..

Hi, I tried the same but PnP JS API didn’t get the SharePoint context.... This was the console message from sharepoint workbench --> abcd.sharepoint.com/sites/Test/_layouts/15/_api/web/lists?$select=Title 404 (Not Found)... can you please help me on this?Thanks:)

getting the same error message on my side too. if i remove the /_layouts/15 on the browser and run, it works perfectly. i guess it fails to understand on how to get the actual link to fire a REST query

There is some problem within your node modules folder. Try deleting the folder and run npm install command.
