SPICA is one of those rare groups whose members all have powerful, beautiful voices. I've heard them sing a cappella; those voices are for real! I don't think they're getting enough recognition. Other K-pop girl groups seem to be popular because they are pretty, even though their vocal abilities are just mediocre. (SPICA's members are pretty too!)

They might be an indie group, which is why they don't get as much coverage on Korean radio. Doesn't mean they're not as popular!

Henke Owo By indie, I mean that they have more of an acoustic sound that kpop doesn't usually cater to. I wasn't necessarily referring to their signing and contract, I'm sure a lot of indie groups out in Korea have contracts, but their sound isn't what Korean radio will put on.

Chezmeralda Indie means independent though, indie is not a sound classified genre. Folky and acoustic are sound classified.

this is such a nice change from the usual kpop mv. it's fun, the vocals are amazing, it's subdued yet powerful, and it's not dancing trapped inside a room. the kpop world needs more of this,THE KPOP WORLD NEEDS MORE SPICA!!

I've come to realize that it's so unfair how underrated SPICA is. They are all magnificently talented. I don't really know what the deal is but they should be promoted better in Korea and not rush into the US so soon. Hopefully everything goes well for them!

I'm pretty sure, mostly teenagers (whose were amazed by techno, outfit, make-up, acting to be cute etc..etc..bla...bla...) are the dominant KPOP lover. Not trying to bashing other groups those running on their "mainstream track" (cause they actually absolutely grabbed HUGE money and popularity by doing it), Thanks Goodness there still are some group like SPICA, Big MaMa, BEG, and The Grace, then KPOP world became more "colourful" and got more performance with better quality, just like you mentioned above.. (I myself, only have known SPICA in these last three month, not really into KPOP before LOL)

This is a great tune, reminiscent of "February Air" by Lights, "Firework" by Katy Perry, and "Lights" by Ellie Goulding. If Katy Perry recorded an English-language cover of this song, it'd be an instant #1 hit.

I don't think Katy Perry could handle this song vocally, yes she is a good singer, but she is not as amazing as it seems she is. She uses gimmicks to cover her okay voice. It's a cop out. And probably since she can't handle the vocal demands of the song she would probably try to cover for it with the gimmicks she does and then the true essence and meaning of the song would be lost and buried under feathers and lions

I FREAKING LOVE IT. this is so organic and down to earth! and it really stands out because it's none of that electronic, flashing lights, autotuned crap that kpop usually produces. THIS is fun, beautiful, inspiring, refreshing, dynamic, right amount of sex appeal, and that colored powder....kill me now, i nearly fainted from the gorgeousness of it. and the song itself is so great. the rap at 0:36 is fun, the tune at 0:49 is inspiring, and each of the girls' voices are fitted to their parts.

Thanks, you're right. She didn't teach Infinite to sing, but she was their vocal guide for the guide tracks to their songs (basically sing in tune with the music). She's a huge talent! I personally think she can produce the next SPICA album.
