Was very surprised and happy they localized the opening song with this show. I really like when shows do that, especially nowadays when it's so rare. The song in japanese is great as well, of course, but it just hits different to hear it in a different language. And I enjoy seeing what the localization team can do with an intro.

This singing is wasted on such mediocre visuals. I wasn't expecting the remake's op to live up to the original, that wouldn't have been reasonable, but there's just nothing interesting going on past the 30 second mark. It just turns into the original op, but with weaker presentation in every way. A lot of the shots feel like they're dragging, and some of the presentation here looks less like animation made for the op and more like something I'd expect to see pulled straight from the show. Also not a fan of how little personality Holo seems to have in this op. They took all the spice away from the wolf.
