Actually anicongee the sound waves produced by the speakers can resonate through the wood easily, creating a hum-like vibration. His piano most likely hums after a final release of the pedal..and in order to make that ending effect more immediate he let go of the pedal and pushed the piano at the same time to absorb the sound resonance. Food for thought~

michael dewar, And, when it comes to petitioning the *Spice and Wolf Committee*, that might also be pretty difficult since it's really made up of a collection of companies and there isn't any one company to focus in on. If you petition one company, and they actually notice it, then they'll likely just pass the blame onto someone else. Exempli gratis, if you petition *ASCII Media Works* (the original publishers of the _Spice and Wolf_ novel series), then they'll likely push the blame onto *Kadokawa Pictures* (publishers of the anime) who will push the blame back to *ASCII Media Works*. And, if you petition the author the _Spice and Wolf_ series Isuna Hasekura, then he might push the blame onto *us*. Saying that he'd like to see a season 3 just as badly as we do, but the *Spice and Wolf Committee* won't risk investing in another season if book sales aren't high enough. So, it's up to _us_ to buy his books, manga, DVD's etc. So, do you see the circle of blame that is likely to go around? The best that we can do is to *_buy the damned books_* (even if we're too lazy to read them), along with anything S&W related. Because, that's really what was their basis for producing the first 2 seasons in the first place.

That's the ONLY possible theory I can come up with as to why there's no Season 3. They intentionally left it on the biggest cliffhanger possible to make you go read the books to find out what happened.

michael dewar, That's pretty stupid, that you petition _Funimation_ when they have absolutely *no* power to influence the _Japanese_ companies' decisions in doing anything. I went to an anime convention where some guy even spoke to the Funimation reps about a sequel to a video game. One of them said that first off they don't dub video games, and, secondly, they have no power when it comes to what the original owners of the source material decide to do. All that Funimation does is dub anime, and they told the audience that the committees in Japan who own the source material have all the power in making decisions. It's a waste of time even asking them to do anything because they have no power. When it comes to these Japanese companies who ship anime to the English-speaking world, all that Funimation can do is make a better offer than their competitors, which they have a lot of. Since, the Japanese companies can easily go to someone else for dubbing when they ship to here, Funimation really comes off as the beggars and not the Japanese companies. I want a season 3 of _Spice and Wolf_ just as badly, but petitioning _Funimation_ is the wrong approach. They're the wrong people to go talk to about this. It's best to petition the *_Spice and Wolf Committee_* instead.

michael dewar, Has anyone at least started a petition to *ASCII Media Works*? They are likely our best bet in getting to do anything since they're the book publishers. My other post might not have sounded very optimistic, but I would be willing to sign my name to a petition to those guys rather than Funimation! ¬_¬. It's blatant ignorance on the side of the English-speaking fans for thinking that Funimation produces anime. Our time and efforts are wasted on the wrong people when we voice our concerns to them. I know from first-hand experience that Funimation will state that there's nothing that they can do.
