Resp Fitab It’s true that Mel C didn’t want “Headlines” (or any new music) to be made at the time, according to the cited sources in the Wikipedia article. “Voodoo” is a b-side from the “Forever” album, which she was on. I don’t know what her problem is with the new music, But the Spice Girls as a whole group will ultimately have to decide which songs they will perform. It’s a matter of opinion, but I don’t think “Song For Her” is bad. I like it and am glad they made new music at all, even as only the 3 piece GEM. Mel C briefly sang along to a clip of it on a talk show, and thought it was at least decent and catchy. My original comment was addressing all the people in the comment section asking for a new album. If they don’t make one, then they do have at least two post-2000 songs they could play. It’s really up to them and I don’t know if they’ll be playing any of those newer songs. But even if they don’t, I’m still glad they are doing a reunion at all, even without Victoria.

Melanie C parted ways with them after two solo albums and they still (as far as I'm aware) hold the rights to those first two albums. With Melanie releasing the rest of her music on her own label there's a conflict of interest there. Personally I think the Spice Girls could do shows every summer and sellout just based on their greatest hits. Even Melanie C would be willing to do more concerts because she's even stated that it's the only way to make money in the music industry now.

The media said she is the spokes person for spice girl unofficially because she is loud and has a strong character and quite a leader. I read this fr media and from the decumentaries all about SG in KZbin. She & Mel B were the most aggressive & dominant one. Geri also managed SG(especially recording matters) after they sacked their former manager. Geri always be a mastermind. Victoria even said that. Even now Mel C said that Geri is managing SG until now (2021)

I honestly feel deep down that Victoria will ultimately eventually sign on...It might take a lot or awhile...However I do think she will join the girls again...I think guilt from the fans, family, & friends will follow her for awhile...Whether she likes that or not...Victoria will always be remembered for being a spice girl...Plus I'm sure everywhere she will go the next few months everyone will harass/ask her why she won't be a part of the reunion, or did you see this about the spice girls?, etc...Writing some post on Instagram like she did isn't cutting it for the fans...Most of the fans from what I've noticed feel hurt/disrespected on Victoria's part because its one of those situations where " don't forget where you came from/or what made you " because if it wasn't for the success of the spice girls you would not have your fashion empire etc

Honestly, I am fine with her not being back. She has her own career now, a different life and keeping it real, she added nothing to the group or their sound. When Geri left it worked kinda but it definitely wasn’t the same vibe. Without Victoria, they will be just fine.
