As a teenager i was mistreated by my sister. Shes mtf. She came out at about the same time she started really mistreating me. I internalized it and for a while became transphobic. I grew put of it before i was out of high school but still had many miss understandings and negative opinions. Videos like this helped me understand and more fully accept transgender people. Helped me fully separate her actions from her identity. Videos like this do have an impact and help people grow.

Yesterday I came out to my friend as trans. And I was literally sobbing and shaking because I thought she would reject me and not be my friend anymore. But she instead said that it was really okay and if I ever need to talk, she could bike over to my house. Then she showered me with love and affection and I was sobbing.
