Spice of Love was another master piece. Daniel played a Hausa Muslim brilliant and persuasively. He was such a calm, collected, calculating villain but was ultimately outsmarted. One of his greatest qualities is his smile and he had a cross between a smirk and a smile. Daniel made me think Hassan really existed. Ekama and Mike amaze me at how in sync they are. They are so convincing at playing characters truly in love. Mike and Ekama ooze sensuality and are becoming the prototype for intimacy between couples. I enjoyed how much Aminah loved and connected with Imo over his amazing culinary skills. Imo made a handsome chef and I don’t blame Aminah bc Imo was an irresistible guy. I really liked Mina's friend. She was a cool, laid back, confidant we all can use. Spice of Love was like a game changer that women of certain cultures and from all walks of life shouldn't have to be diminished or reduced to a commodity and it’s always a pleasure to see a man take accountability for his actions without hesitation and with open arms. Daniel, Ekama, Mike and all supporting cast job well done. I recommend SOL. Watch it and you will agree. 5 St⭐r's ❤

Where do I start? It's the attention to details for me, from the Haussa's language with subtitles, to the costumes, the way he found out..., even the food in the kitchen (I was sick and tired to always see carrots, cabbage, eggs and rice/noodles) seeing boney fish and water leaves were out of the ordinary. Not to mention the suspense, til the last minute, I taught her handy man betrayed her... Can I talk about the chemistry? Gosh, it was good, great.. My only regret was the absence of the credentials at the end of the movies. I wanted to put names to the new faces, like the bestie, the mom, the dad, and even her assistant, and find out who was behind this incredible story. Kuddos bestie... Get your flowers🎉🎉 along with the whole team behind this masterpiece.

Most Nigerian movies do not depict how Muslims live but I got a glimpse of that through this movie. It was honestly refreshing to see. Whoever the casting director for this movie is knows their onions. The cast came through as expected, everyone pulled their weight down to the minor characters. I love how the plot was interwoven with culture as well as the potray of life as a modern day muslim woman. She wasn't going to allow herself marry to please her family and when it came to striking a good deal with Imoh's father, she put her sentiments aside and did what needed to be done. Now that's a boss babe.

I agree with Ekama’s friend that she should have told Michael about the pregnancy from the time she returned to Lagos. That way he could have put his father in his place when he spoke to him about it. As for Ekama’s assistant he is one wicked person, imagine he’s getting paid 7 million from Daniel plus trying to kill her child for her father and still have a conscience to face her. I find myself commenting on every movie that Omini tv makes. Wow, there’s so much maturity breaking generational trauma and healing happening. i’ve watched it three times already. My favorite though is the difference is the opening and closing scene, same thing but there’s love joy and acceptance in the last one. Well done Ma waiting for the next one.
